A 33-year-old man has been sentenced to 24 years in jail for deliberately infecting 32 women with HIV.
Valentino Talluto, from Italy, seduced about 53 women through social networks for over 10 years until police arrested him in November 2015.

During this period, he reportedly engaged in physical intimacy with them without protection despite knowing his status. Valentino Talluto deliberately infected 32 women with HIV. Police say he failed to disclose his status and often came up with various reasons for not using protection.
For instance, he sometimes said he was allergic to condoms or he had just had an HIV test that turned out negative. He has been sentenced to 24 years in jail.
Many of the women only discovered they had HIV after Talluto's arrest prompted them to go for a test.
